I’ve just had the diff pinion seal replaced under warranty because it was leaking. Will keep my ears tuned for this noise! |

Dropped it off at MD this afternoon... good question NMJ... thought it important to take Stan’s advice and eliminate obvious causes before throwing the car at the mercy of the MD... still 3 hours of life that’s not coming back thanks to pfaffing around jacking wheels up, spinning them round, then taking them off and trying to eliminate causes... hey ho at least they got a good clean to the back of the inner rims... praying the MD doesn’t say they can’t find anything... or that they have found something and it’s not covered under the LR Extended Warranty |

Just had the health check video. LR technician says it needs a new rear diff. Waiting to find out if it’s covered under LR Extended Warranty...

I did expect it Stan tbh. Having had back to back RRs for a fair few years now you do get familiar with those expensive sounding “what’s that?” noises. Although, usually turn to the forum first to seek views of trusted forum members in the hope of eliminating obvious simple things first.

mJD is correct, however I Wouldn’t worry too much, they did just the one on my 322 and it was absolutely fine!
