Had the steering issue diagnosed at LR main dealer - requires new steering rack at a cost of just over £3000.00

Hi Stan, I have 22" turbines. They have been on since new.

ok so if they OE then that knocks my theory of after market wheels causing the problem.. ... - .- -.

The only possible explanation is a pothole incident earlier this year. It was fine prior to that. Then developed cracking/straining noise which has got progressively worse. ------------------------------------------

That's good advice thanks, I'm going to do just that, wheel has been checked by KWF no issues, had to have new tyre - which ended up being 4 new tyres while i was at it. ------------------------------------------
