So I have the car and starting to upgrade the speakers. The one in the front consoles, the cover just popped off, so that one is done.

I can't seen to pop the covers for the one's in the rear/boot. Any tips from anyone else that has done it? SDV8 AB MY 2020

Have never done it. Here is a pic from the WM (pre 2018).

Good luck.

Well better the trim tools then one of the grills I guess. Thumbs Up

Door speakers are straight forward, just watch the powerfuluk videos for removing the door cards. Getting to the tweeters on the front doors requires removing the plastic trim that wraps around the doors, but that just pops off, no hidden surprises.

Rear doors done today. Just the sub to go... which needs me to remove the spare wheel so I can practice with the wheel hoist...

then the amp but that needs me to run power cables.

I can already hear a difference... I think it was worth it... SDV8 AB MY 2020

I saw that... I might try and see... but that is a winter job... I need to finish the dashcam and to wire the android screen for the rear seats... in October we have a 2 week school holiday and we are going away in the car and they are the important bits... SDV8 AB MY 2020

I’m trying to find the subwoofer in mine. There’s very little info on the L405 on the net or YouTube. 🤷‍♂️

Under the drivers seat Richie, built into the floor so you’ll need to remove the seat and then all will become obvious sir… Thumbs Up

Thanks Craig. 👍

If it’s working would I feel it through the seat?

Which sound system do you have? Have you tried turning the sub woofer up & down to check it? Not just the bass! The sub woofer up/down in the menu?

I have the biggest system in mine and you bet you can feel it! The lower systems, it’s not quite as noticeable…

JLR have used the chassis as a sub box essentially so you don’t just feel it through the drivers seat… Thumbs Up

Hi Craig,

I’ve got the 825w system.

Yes, I have played with the settings for the sub. I couldn’t tell whether it was working or not!!
