Leave off EPB for storing?

As I won't be using the RR for a while (now working from home) is it worth leaving the EPB "off" whilst it's laid up to stop it seizing to the rear discs? I've read somewhere it can be put in "off" by taking out a fuse???
My gut feeling is to just fire it up weekly and use the EPB to keep things working OK. Raise/lower at same time etc.
I have a Ctek into towing electrics which I will use to top up battery every 2 weeks if I don't use the RR...

Thanks Stan. For some reason I thought it came on automatically but that's good to know!

Rob/ Stan,
I am not 100% certain but I think the EPB does come on automatically on switch off of ignition.
The EPB module then automatically depowers after the vehicle shut down time.

I pulled the emergency release cord on mine a couple of weeks ago when I thought it was stuck on, but it wasn’t.

Watching the red brake symbol on the dash as you apply/ release it is the only way to know.

Perhaps I am reading it wrong, but , my interpretation is that when you select Park and switch off ignition it automatically applies the EPB, but as the car powers down, the EPB module depowers to prevent battery drain .

No, you don’t need to touch the brake handle.
Watch the red light , it goes off as soon as you move.

I'll try it later again but I just put into P and then switched off without applying EPB. Locked car.
When I unlocked then switched ignition on again (no start) the red parking light was not on the dash.
I've got it on charge at moment but will look later and see if the EPB has applied. I'll also start and then select D and see if I hear/feel it release. I'll also check to see if the red parking light is on dash when I open/start it.
I bet Craig will be along soon and tells us Thumbs Up Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Just opened it. No red light.
Ignition on. Still no red light.
Switched off and locked.
My assumption is it's now "off".
Will start it later and check again.
Maybe the previous owner already disabled auto function? Whistle Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
