a quick google suggests tyres should'nt be older than 12-18 months.. ... - .- -.

I think that's too old at full price. If they've been stored properly I'd imagine they are fine to use but in the trade I think they would be sold at a discount to new ones.

2017 ? So 2-3 yrs old .. I don’t think that’s a problem .. tyres aren’t milk . They don’t go off if stored correctly 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back

I understood it was advisable to replace at 5 years old. That's what I remember anyway. 2011 4.4tdv8 Vogue

Personally would want tyres within usual standard of less than 12-18 mths since manufacture if paying full price
