Suspension switch and key issues

My 4.2 s/c has developed a couple of odd faults no 1 is that the suspension raises and lowers all fine but won't lock into access mode ,which is a pain as I use a few low car parks and the tunnel, anyone any ideas if it is the switch or ecu? When I hold the switch down it goes to access mode then nothing it used to ding and lock it .
no2 is to do with keys I have 3 keys one opens and closes car on remote and starts it the 2nd one opens and starts but doesn't have remote function the 3rd just opens the doors on the blade - no starting. Now using the 11D tool I can program the key so that the one the didnt do remote does but then the other stops so in other words I cannot get more than one key programmed at a time - do I need a new ecu and if so is it a separate one on its own ?
Any advice greatly appreciated

Sandy, When you synch the keys you are aware that when you move to the second and third keys you don't put them in the ignition as that starts the sequence over again?

A reminder:

To synch the keys
1) Get in and close all doors. Turn ignition on and off quickly and remove the key (all within about 5 seconds).

2) Within 30 seconds of turning the ignition off, while holding down the "unlock" button, press the "lock" button three times. Release the "unlock" button. (You may or may not get the confirmation from the door locks.) Holding the key at your head level provides best results as the key sensor is in the side window pillar.

3) Repeat for each key you want to initialize within 30 seconds after the last one you initialized (if you have more).

4) Right after doing the last key, quickly put the key back in the ignition and turn it on/off again to finalize.

Between stages 2 and 3 above DO NOT put the additional key in the ignition (stage 1) as this starts the whole process again.

Hope I haven't misunderstood! John
