Electronic Park Brake release 2011 4.4 tdv8

HELP !!!!
B.B. is well and truly stuck in my garage.
It has not been used for 5 weeks and is now refusing to budge.
The EPB indicator on the dash is showing it release and operate as normal, but I can’t hear any movement ???,
I have searched for help regarding trying the emergency release cable but can’t find anything.

Has anyone ever used theirs?? If so any help appreciated.

My next plan is to jack up the backend and see if the wheels are free.

I can’t drive forwards or reverse, and now it is throwing up a gearbox fault alert.

Any tips or links appreciated.

Cheers Stan.
I am about to go and look for it, but I think I will jack up the back end first to try and see which side is stuck, then see if it releases with a pull.
It’s not easy working on it because my garage is so tight, but I think I can get both back wheels off the ground.
I will report back later if I make any progress.

I have pulled the emergency release, but car still refusing to move.
I haven’t jacked it up yet.
Just going to check iid for faults.
Gearbox Fault clears when I press OK, but returns as I select reverse and try to drive.

Not without demolishing the house Big Cry Big Cry
Front bumper touching garage wall.
Jacking back end up and dragging seems only option.

Greg,
Nothing is telling me it is handbrake ...
It just seemed a good likely cause and somewhere to start.

Jacking up back end next option.

Thanks to a call from Greg,
I was trying to manually paddle through the gears and couldn’t, then I noticed when I selected Neautral that it was flashing N rather than solid display.
Just trying to select low range brought up message to select N to change range, then suddenly N became a solid display, then I selected R and it moved.
Just taken it for a quick run round the block and all seems OK.

I will take it for a longer run after I get a quick bite of lunch.
Thanks to all
Cheers

Just been for a good run, manually paddled gears lots plus high and low ranges.

Conclusion...
100% it was not the brakes sticking, but at least I now know how to manually release the park brake.

Manually changing high to low and through the gears eventually cleared it., but I still don’t know what exactly was stuck.

How many miles has yours done sir? Maybe the gearbox oil is getting old/moisture in?
