Battery Drain, Aftermarket DVD unit removed

HI Guys,

2008 Vogue SE A 3.6 TDV8

Posted a while back about the rear entertaiment system, As it turned out from Stans awsome eyes it was after market, Finaly got the screens working but the dvd changer unit would not work. So i removed the unit and blanked the power wires off, Must have done something silly as i had ablown fuse in the boot fuse box, As front screen was LR logo with flashing orange power button. upon changing said fuse the front screen was working along with the nav and bluetooth so thought problem solved, it might be me but now when i get out the car and remove the key the power button flashes for about 5/6 minutes but is pulling an 11 amp battery drain during this time according to the multi meter, then it will drop to 0.63 amp, but if i sit in the car with the radio off and a fully charged battery (all interior lights are led now) for about 10 to 15 minutes the car will not start turns over a few times then dies. Is the orange flashin power button normal as i dont recall it doing this before, also could there be another problem arising from this causing my battery drain

Thanks

Start disconnecting things in the left rear cubby until you find the culprit - satnav and bluetooth and tv module.

You may need to dismantle each of these to check the circuit boards and connections for corrosion.
