So, i have been following this GAP tool over the years, my question is this. Will it help me or just tell me what I already know. e.g. My suspension is in 'not working' mode. I reckon its a height sensor due to the recent replacement of an arm at the front, will it just tell me that? Thanks

It's well worth it, example:

Dash says: suspension fault

IID says right rear height sensor fault

I have no idea why you can't just access a menu on the car for that btw.

I guess in your case you know where to look.

But when I found my 2011 on the bumps one cold morning, the IID diagnosed it for me in comfort form the front seat - and in seconds.

So I only had to take one wheel off and not four.

Oh it will clear errors too.

And change settings.

Eg: I have a custom height that I use when I need to get under the car. So I hit my custom height called 'jack it' and it goes up past off road height. Always with an axle stand mind.
