England 2002 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver
[SOLD] 2002 L322 Range Rover 4.4l V8 (96k mls)

Well after 4 years of ownership I've decided to sell my Range Rover.

It is a 52 plate with only 96,000 miles on it, 4.4l V8 HSE that has a fully working upgraded Vogue interior including (heated front and rear seats, headrest monitors, upgraded sound system with sub and amp in the boot.

Lots of upgraded body parts, aftermarket exhaust (which makes the most of the awesome V8 sound) Range Rover Sport alloys which are still in almost as new condition, tyres still have plenty of tread on them.

Just passed the MOT last week with a suspension bush, gaiter and the two coolant pipes going to the transmission being the only things that required sorting out.

All the displays are 100% working with no faulty pixels.

I've really enjoyed owning this car which looks and sounds awesome and it's been great being part of this wonderful forum of knowledgeable owners.

Both rear wheel arches could do with rubbing down and repainting at the moment, I may get chance to get this sorted but if not then I will reduce the price to account for this.

I'm looking for £3,250 or nearest offer, I do have some of the original bits that will be thrown in with the sale (external black pillar covers, rear retractable net, even the original exhaust backbox.)

Located near Hull in Yorkshire.

I have my other car so could do with getting this off the drive now.

Any questions, please give me a shout, it's also advertised on ebay so please act fast if you want it. Dan

Thanks mate, did get one person to come and look at it but alas 'it had too many gadgets for them' apparently. Think they prefer the old school defenders so can't be helped. Dan

ok so I've had people offering me £2500, is that a fair price or am I asking too much?

Others on auto trader being advertised for between £3500 and £5500 so I thought I was being reasonable?

Am I going to have to give up and take £2500 for it? Dan

Depends really!

Some at low money (I saw someone say they got an 02 for £800 yesterday) will be awful and broken, yours on the other hand might be as straight as they come with no recurring faults etc

How long have you got to sell it? If it is a good one (I'm not trying to say it's not) someone will gladly pay a premium, but you'll have to wait for them to find you -- if you need it gone take the money! Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Hold out

I think you should hold out as it's a cracking example if the wife didn't like her d3 so much I would have it for her I looked at one local seller wanted 2k for it and it was a complete shed on wheels

Has the timing chain/guides been done? I got 2500 for mine when I traded it in and that was a shed!

Yeah the Timing chains haven't been done (not by me anyway, could've been done by the previous owner I guess) but advice from my local land rover specialist garage that I go to is that they don't see them needing changing anytime soon as there is very little noise.

I don't need to sell it quickly, it's just annoying getting offered poor money that's all. Dan

Pricing is hard to call they either go for buttons or good money, Ive just been looking and purchased and I did consider yours but a few of the mods were a touch off putting for me I prefer original where possible and you might do better trying to reverse some of the mods and selling them individually?

I ended up with a Vogue and had a HSE before it and there are quite a few differences I know you've done the interior etc but people are still going to want the Vogue trim level etc. I found this when I came to sell the HSE, I literally couldn't give it away!

One thing I would do is put the rear pillar covers back to standard . But keep at it it'll go eventually. 2005 E60 M5

Thanks for the tip mate, The previous guy did give me the original front and rear pillar covers so they come thrown in with the car (also got the original exhaust back box too but it would need welding on if anyone wanted that)

I'll have a think about swapping them back (personally think it's better colour coded but each to their own) Dan
