Thanks mate, did get one person to come and look at it but alas 'it had too many gadgets for them' apparently. Think they prefer the old school defenders so can't be helped. Dan

I think you should hold out as it's a cracking example if the wife didn't like her d3 so much I would have it for her I looked at one local seller wanted 2k for it and it was a complete shed on wheels |

Has the timing chain/guides been done? I got 2500 for mine when I traded it in and that was a shed! |

Yeah the Timing chains haven't been done (not by me anyway, could've been done by the previous owner I guess) but advice from my local land rover specialist garage that I go to is that they don't see them needing changing anytime soon as there is very little noise.

Pricing is hard to call they either go for buttons or good money, Ive just been looking and purchased and I did consider yours but a few of the mods were a touch off putting for me I prefer original where possible and you might do better trying to reverse some of the mods and selling them individually?

Thanks for the tip mate, The previous guy did give me the original front and rear pillar covers so they come thrown in with the car (also got the original exhaust back box too but it would need welding on if anyone wanted that)
