Have you tried the blue connector from the tv tuner into the back of the nav unit to see if the screen works? If it shows the menu screen and keeps that it’s probably the tv tuner that’s gone.

I haven't as yet as the weather is less than idea for sorting the issue.

Take just the blue plug from the tv tuner and plug into the back of the nav unit and it should work, not sure how long for as I only tested mine for a few mins.
