I hope you are are well

I had uneven tyre wear and took my RR (2006 L322 Autobiography) to a tyre/alignment shop for them to check it out. They inspected it and showed me these things that need replacing. The thicker arm had gone on the left hand side of the car and the thinner thing with the rubber cover had gone on the right hand side of the car. But they advised it's better to replace both sides. I've been told by a separate garage that replacing all those bits (inner/outer track rod and the arms) on both sides is about half a day's work, at around £200-£250. Is that reasonable?

Can someone help me with part numbers and where I could get them in the UK for a reasonable price?

Also, how can I tell if I have the newer air compressor or the older one?

I've looked through the workshop manuals and I'm now 100% sure that the bit with the rubber cover is the track rod. I also read another post which recommends changing both the inner and outer track rod at the same time as they can tend to get "seized" together. Also makes sense from a labour perspective I guess.

I think I've identified the component in the other picture as the front suspension's rear lower arm. Is that correct? And does it make sense for an arm like this to "go" or is it the case that the bushing or something needs replacing and the arm itself is fine?

Just buy a complete kit off the bay less than 120 quid for booths sides upper/lower and ball joints

Is it safe to get the tie/track rods off ebay too? I saw this post here saying it was a bad idea to get anything other than LR, I don't know if the poster was talking about tie/track rods or components in general

I dont see why not iv never had an issue

Just had my front track rods done and yes both inner and outer as they were seized
The rear lower arm bushes starting to go can cause wear on the outside of the tyres and is normally a sign along with a brake tap when applied hard and fast at low speeds

Good help on the phone for idetification, cost etc, and if you then order online and say you're a forum member 5% off. Their upper and lower arms kit seems competatively priced. New bolts are not included but the WM says replace the old, so don't forget them as they aren't included in the kit price. Cheers
