Which spark plugs has anyone found to be good or worth avoiding for use with LPG?

Just use the ones that are spec'd for the car, you gain nothing by buying specials for lpg ime

I can't give a logical reason for it but when I did a lot of LPG work I always found that NGK plugs were better than anything else. It was common to find that a set of NGKs would work fine on a car that had misfires on gas with other plugs.
They also had a good wesite that would show their recommended plugs for an LPG converted car.

NGK's website suggests the recommended plugs are BKR6EQUP, if you want an upgrade go for BKR6EIX and for LPG use LPG1.

I wonder what the difference is between them...

Standard plugs might be fine but why not use the NGK recommend LPG plugs?

Ended up using Bosch 4 prong Platinum plugs - which seem to be exactly the same as the BMW ones that came out. Part number FGR7DQP or 0242236562.

Hi.

We have just had an Old Toyota Previa converted to LPG.

The guy who did the conversion, who has been carrying out installs for over 30 years. He told me to stick to standard plugs (which we had just changed anyway).

We have driven it to Javea in Spain from Manchester (via Santander Ferry). No issues other than getting stung at 80p a litre for LPG in Portsmouth. Should have put petrol in instead as it was 60p a litre in Bilbao.

No issues driving around Javea when we got there. But only covered around 1,000 miles on GPL so-far!.
