Rear Ride Height Wiring Fault

Had mine checked yesterday and its showing a fault on the left hand side rear the garage have recommended fitting a wiring repair kit as its a common problem how much of a job is this to carry out or is it a garage job

Any ideas on this apparently its a common problem with wires getting corrosion

I had chaffing near the drivers side height sensor, fixed it myself pretty easily.
