I’ve had a smoke test done but nothing came out of the manifold

Looks like all that is fine. Mine had some smoke marks on the cover.

So my jb weld is still holding up after 2 weeks and just short of a thousand miles. It certainly looks like it is only the drivers side that fails so if/when mine fails I’m just going to replace the one unless there is a spate of passenger side failures by the time I need to do it

So my qbond lasted a week or so but was leaking again. Chipped what I could and now used puraflex u40 which is the same as sikaflex apparently. Will see how that goes. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

Well my repair has failed today, 3 weeks and just shy of 1500 miles and I got the restricted performance bong along with the P023 code. Oddly it was on the exact same place on the same road as the first time, I pulled into the same lay-by to reset. I now expect to replace the manifold but will try Sikaflex first.

Sikaflex repair failed yesterday so I've concluded that there isn't an easy fix for this, I'm sorting a new manifold this weekend. |

I've ordered a new one as well as I don't think the sikaflex is holding but will check again at the weekend. eBay have a 10% code today for using the android app so brought the pain down to under £300 for the new manifold. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |

I reckon you’ve confirmed that this isn’t a long term fix.
