Front lights

Hello everyone, I wanted to take a curiosity, inside the headlights, both right and left, there is a lever, I tried to move it but it doesn't change anything, does anyone know what it is?

its a headlight beam adjuster..on a right hand drive FF its up for the UK and down for euroland.. ... - .- -.

does it mean that you can even buy headlights in the uk as needed?
