Front brake judder

Evening All

The front brakes on my 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE judder slightly under braking. Initially smooth braking but a slight vibration builds up as braking increases. If I stand on the brakes, no judder but obviously I can’t drive like that normally!

I’ve bought genuine brembo discs and pads from eurocarparts so I intend to swap the brakes for new items in the next few weeks when I get some free time. Decent deal from eurocarparts, with discount cost only £200 which I thought was excellent value.

Has anyone else had this judder problem and is replacement likely to get rid of the judder?

Yes, I have had the same problem, and replacing discs and pads fixed it.

Sounds like warping. Are you sure the ECP ones were Genuine? Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Hi
All the branding on the boxes are brembo. Can’t see eurocarparts selling anything under false pretences but I might be wrong. LR just brand from oem and charge for the label

Had no bother with Brembo branded discs and pads from AF a few years ago. Previous cars:
S-Max 2007-2013 (only diesel I've had, good car but expensive when diesely bits go wrong, so what's the point?)
Galaxy 2001-2007
Mondeo Estate 1997-2001
Sierra Estate 1993-1997
Uno Turbo 1987 -1993
Fiesta 1984 - 1987
Fiat 127 1982 - 1984

I’m totally confused now. Brembo boxed. Brembo stamped. Reputable supplier. But it appears I’m told here they are aren’t Brembo?
Are the goods sold and mis-represented as Brembo? What make are the genuine Land Rover parts because Land Rover only buy parts in and don’t manufacture these items. My engine is marked on the V5 as a Ford.....

Help!!!

They're Brembo boxed because Brembo bought them from another supplier to sell under their own brand. Exactly like Britpart , AllMakes etc do.

It might be worth checking condition of the upper control arm rubber bushes. If they're very tired / soft, they can effectively "amplify" any minor judder that's there from the discs or pads Paul,

Admit, Brembo must have a manufacturing base and they buy manufactured parts but they will be to their standards and specifications as for materials and durability. Nobody puts their name and reputation to anything unless they are to an exacting standard surely?

Who make Land Rover parts? Why are Land Rover parts considered better quality?

theres no doubt that brembo badged pads work ok on other vehicles but the FF seems to benefit from genuine LR pads ..
they are made by jurid and can be bought cheaper under that name..
