M62 Cats on AJV8

hi all

Trying to find one used cat is proving very hard, however there are loads for the 4.4 m62 and cheap too. Does anyone know if they run the same boor size and would bolt up to the manifold? i appreciate after the cat would need cutting and joining? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
