spoke to my son who is a mot tester and he says its down to the mot testers discretion and there must be enough light coming through the smoked lens.. ... - .- -.

some of the black 'lights' on chav cars are dreadful - even at night you only get a very faint glow - in daylight brake lights are not visible at all |

Mine has past to MOT's without any issue. 1st 1 was even done at the dealers |
