I'm considering looking for something like a black plastic mini trough/L shaped profile say 10mm wide that can be cut to length and sympathetically affixed with black silicone down the full length side of the windscreen so that it channels the wipers efforts down it instead of allowing it run around the side window. Does that sound plausible? Or do those wind deflectors cure it? 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

Rapiscan, you might find double glazing fitters/companies have something that would do the job.

I know your talking about the rear window and I the side drivers one, my apologies, just thought slim black plastic profile fitted discreetly would prevent any water travelling around the sides especially with the window open, it's a massive design flaw allowing water onto the door electrics and astonishing LR haven't addressed it either? 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

Does anyone actually know why there is this build-up of water around the rear backup camera anyway?

My upper tailgate seems to fill up with water which all comes rushing out down the sides when I open. Is this the sort of water collection that you're referring to? 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE |
