2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

MY2010 Climate panel fit earlier?

Before anyone says this has been to death., i know but my question is a little different. Will the panel actually fit in the gap where the other two modules sit? its would be a MY07 - thinking of buying one and using the old units behind the scenes and just the fascia from the newer module... Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

that panel is a single unit about an inch thick with sockets on the rear...i'm pretty sure its not plug and play though..

2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

I looked into this a while back, as my heater panel lighting is very dim.

Like Stan, I reckoned it wasn't plug and play, as the connectors were different. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

yes I get that but I was literally going to buy is and take the front off and mount the old modules behind if that makes sense - but wanted confirm they'd fit first...

the 2010-2012 panel is one piece and all the knobs are integrated into it and does not have separate modules.

yes got that Stan but I was literally going to take the black plastic off the front of it ant the buttons (not the module) do the same with the originals and then put the new buttons and black front on the old modules but before trying wanted to confirm the one piece would fit.. Current stable:

I haven’t delved into mine, but the clock is doing funny things...
It is right one minute, then next time I look it is stopped, then , it just fast forwards for no reason and is fine again.

Dan, even if it were possible to do as you wish... JLR moved the switches around in the 09> so that would nt work in your favour either sir...

Yes I spotted that but as the buttons looks the same size I thought I’d just swap them around.

Why would I want to do this? I prefer the black colour to the old fashioned grey - I’d also spray the screen so it would look a lot more modern up to date Current stable:
