Now that's something I need to teach my kids. I didn't think Police Officers would condone that sort of behaviour

Plus, his actions lie firmly within 'self defence'. I'd say he showed some restraint not doing it sooner, or even kicking the out of him whilst he was down (as the other kid would no doubt have done.....) My Previous RR's!

I have variously heard that the fat kid has learning difficulties and had to endure considerable bullying and that the fat kid was suspended after the incident.

Don't know if either is right but the little kid got what he deserved and the fat kid should be praised for restraint, not excluded. The skinny kid needs a clip round the ear from his dad.
