If you want to try Eastnor, try 01531 638779.

Intact they should be open now and do Saturday and Sunday's.

You can mention me, Danny, if you like.

It is a special place and it is worth the effort if it is a journey. Smile

It's the way they say "and for security purposes".
Twaddle. They want it for a marketing database. So many people are like sheep and give information over the phone to all sorts of people - we are living in a paradise for villains who engage in identify theft.

If they want to get the age for insurance purposes, then they should say so. But my undertstanding is that this is not required...on a few attempts to book previously, no age or DOB wa srequested.

And as for idenitfying me...normally my name is sufficient.

You are probably right that I am already on multiple databases already. But I don't contribute voluntarily. For instance when Currys / Halfords want my DOB when paying for some bit of electrical kit, or cycle tyres and they ask for the address and DOB - I ask them why that is relevant to the purchase.

I refuse to give out my email address to any business - especially if I am travelling overseas. Hotel receptions in particular annoy me - why do they need my email address (especially if I have booked in on-line when they have it anyway) - it's because the front of house staff collect them and sell them on. If somebody insists on having one then I either tell them I don't have email or I make one up............. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

No they aren't a problem since I signed up to the Telephone Preference Service (it's free) and if I do get the odd Double Glazing company calling I just tell them I will report them as I'm on the TPS and my number shouldn't be on their systems. Even numbers randomly generated (aka the silent call) should show as a TPS listed number. I also have my mobile phone listed with them 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
