Hi, just joined this forum today. I have previously been lurking in the background especially when something has gone wrong with the car and looking for advice.
As I said in my intro post I have been living in France for about ten years and have had quite a few Range Rovers from Classics, A P38 and now an L322.
I bought my L322 unseen (silly) and my sister drove it out here, only had a few problems with it like new battery, lower control arm and tyres. But now the dreaded torque convertor is showing signs of letting go.
So we bought a 2010 3.6TDV8 with the digital dash (picking it up on Monday) really looking forward to that, but we are going to keep the TD6..........for one I use it to tow an ATV Flail mower to cut our field and secondly the wife said to fix it up and use it for proper offroading. Was hoping to convert it into an expedition capable car (that we don't mind scratching up).
Trouble is I am finding a lot of expedition parts are now becoming obselete for the L322.
I'll get some pictures up of the new car when we get it. 2002 Range Rover TD6
