Hi Dan,

It looks like they have quite a variety of power supply needs for (what looks like) the backlight and a general power supply too - and there is a composite video in, but there are four 'IS-BUS' inputs (or outputs) at the bottom of this screen-grab that may be the spanners-in-the-works of getting the screens to be generally useful.

I hope this helps (a bit)

Let us know how you get on.

Ahh! Sorry, I misread your original question.

It looks like the Rear Seat Entertainment gets its feed from the head unit via the MOST Bus and a video feed from the head-unit that contains the TV signal.

So you _could_ (it looks like) remove the head-unit but continue to enjoy the rear seat entertainment, but, there would be a huge issue - when I had my L322 with the RSE package, the only way of selecting inputs was from the main touchscreen - there was a way from the rear centre console remote, but I do not know if this would render the RSE inoperative without the head unit at least initialising the MOST communication.

I guess the easiest way of find in out is to locate the Rear Seat Entertainment Module and unplug connector C2109...
