Pull it, dismantle it, have a look at the circuit board for corrosion, if so, clean with contact cleaner and toothbrush (preferably SWMBO's!) .

All was working OK with the Mk3 unit ?

Yes, works perfect. It's all plug and play. The mk4 was also working fine, but my battery became weaker so I noticed that the mk4 didn't go to sleep. Put the mk3 back in and that solved the drain problem. 2002 Range Rover Td6 |

If you can it might be worth trying a Firmware update. Do you happen to know what version the Firmware is? |

Got the latest one, V32 with RR splash screen. Think i'll try to re-install the firmware. Hopefully that helps.

Can't help with the mk3 satnav, I have the mk 4 as well. |

Installed stock firmware on it now, but it didn't help. Tok it apart afterwards and cleaned it with contact cleaner and toothbrush hoping it could help, but that didn't solve it either.
