Probably the wire has snapped on the regulator or a pulley come off. There’s lots of advice on here about doing it. Get a second hand reg if you don’t want the cost. They’re just as good imho. |

Thanks everyone for the advice. I found a video on you-tube that I used in the end. Link below. I bought a used regulator from ebay for £35. Took me about 2.5hrs to do, as I took it slow and steady. This also included 30mins spent fishing out a bolt with a magnet that I dropped down into the door and lodged between the door skins at the bottom. The old regulator wire had separated in the housing that joins the wire. The plastic cover had snapped and come off. Have no idea how it happened.
