If you mean the outer door handle not working then its door card off, been there done that same year. |

It’s normally the “nugget” at the handle end of the wire that corrodes and snaps or jams. It’s not a big job if everything is loose and comes out ok. Mine was rusted into the hole so had to drill it out to get the new wire in. Once the door card is off it’s actually quite easy to replace (if everything is movable as I said)

Mine had seized at the handle end, had to take handle off to sort it in the end no way would it let go of the nipple, gave it a good dose of copper grease to delay it doing it again. |

had to change mine the other week, same thing the nipple on the end snapped off the cable.
