i've also been struggling with the frozen screen.

After a few days, went to check the fuse22 and it was blown. Replaced it and it blew immediately...
Then replaced it with a 30A fuse and it didn't blew up.
After that, i was able, using the bypass mode of the BT module, to recover all the functionalities of the screen without the BT capabilities.
The BT module, as far as i know, packed up... In truth, it smells a bit of burned electrics.
As far as I know, i have no water ingress anywhere. Everything seems dry.

Fitted the used bluetooth phone module that i picked up on ebay and system is working fine now. With regards to the water ingress, think I might of found the issue...........

Whilst that won't help the bluetooth module usually sits higher than that!

For the future if anyone is reading this so I don’t open up a new thread, I had the exact same problem except for the fuses not blowing.

Since I thought the BT unit was fried I opened it up and found copper style green corrosion.

I cleaned this off with electrical contact cleaner from Halfords and a tooth brush (I was not careful as it wasn’t easy coming off) and everything worked perfectly, 99% of the corrosion came off and the unit worked fine.
