[wanted] Looking for a cheap FFRR-and springs

Hello all.

I am looking for an older L322 V8. Something roadworthy but happy to do some work on it myself as if a little project. As long as the engine and gearbox are OK!!!

My question is: Does a car that has been converted to springs rather than air have a crap ride? Does it ruin the whole point of a FFRR?

Cheers

Phil

Interesting point this one, I see there are many conversion kits on the market, not exactly a cost effective alternative IMO. Has anyone done this conversion and any feedback? Does it mean we will see lift kits etc a la Discovery 2? Thumbs Up
