Your picture shows they are massive pads to hold in your hand too, huh?

Yes the pads are massive. Brembo callipers. I am looking to replace my rotors for floating ones next. Good luck with the change, post some pictures |

This is my floating set up on my Audi S8 Plus. It's been tuned to 830BHP 1150Nm and a 0-60 of 2.4 seconds. The discs would continually warp under excessive load due to heat. A fully floating design allows the discs to expand under heat and contract when cool without twisting and warping the steel, as they sit on a chain link that slides up and down, it prevents this from happening. The drilled holes allow the gasses generated by the pad to pass through the holes and exit, rather than causing brake fade which is caused by a layer of gas build up between the pad and the disc that the pressure of a braking system cannot compress, so there is actually 0 contact between the pad and disc (extreme examples here, track use etc.) But you get the idea!

I was not sure if it would be favoured on a RR forum! I will upload some pictures now and show you. I kept everything stock looking, as I wanted the wolf in sheep's clothing look, not an accident at Halfords. A rocket powered "Gentleman" arm chair if you will. Certainly seen off some expensive super cars in it's time. Much to the dismay of Mr 300k Lamborghini owner |

That is per disc and does not include the bell. It's a rotor only replacement |
