Terrain Control switch button replacement

I don't think I will get a response on this but i am pretty anal and try to keep the car a perfect as possible. The 1st thing i do when I start the car is turn off their "A OFF" button lower right. Consequently the white lettering is almost gone. I see some plastic button replacements offered on eBay that say "easy replacement. Here are 2 pics. I cannot see how the existing button comes off to install the new one? Has anyone ever done this? Thanks in advance! Mike

They look similar to how computer keyboard button caps attach in that they are clipped on from above. To remove keyboard caps you simply give a short sharp pull using a tool that reaches under and hooks the bottom of the button to pull it upwards.

Look for universal key cap puller and you will see what I mean. V8 or else ...

Hi Stan, So 2 weeks ago they installed a new terrain control switch on my wifes 2014. A week ago it did this, you start it and it turns off after about 3 seconds and won't turn back on which is ok i guess except when you pay about $400 to have it replaced you would want the whole thing functioning correctly but i like it off.
