iPhone 8

Can anyone tell me whether the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is compatible in the MY 2018 Range Rover. It isn't listed as compatible on the website, but I can't believe it isn't!!

It's really its compatibility with InControl that I want to know about.

Many thanks Jase, think I'll change my Pixel back for an iPhone as the Pixel really isn't that great in the car.

Have paired the iPhone 8 and it hasn't downloaded any contacts from the phone!!

Also has a funny name for the phone, just numbers and letters instead of my iPhone name (see pic)

Anyone any ideas? By the way god knows why the pic is on its side it isn't like that before I upload it!! Whistle

Thanks iani, any ideas how I get it to show as my phone rather than the MAC address?

I'm not a phone fashionista and still have the Iphone 6 but I get the "no contacts/Recent call" issue now and then. I just forget the phone and re-pair it and it comes back again. You are enabling contacts to be uploaded on your phone under the Bluetooth settings on your phone I assume?

You exchanged a Pixel phone for a iphone , wow & why . Pixel 2 & now 3 are some of the best phones available and rival the top of the range from Samsung & LG .

there may be an issue when you transfer numbers from a non iPhone to an iPhone and visa versa...

The shop that sold you the iPhone should help...

I phones are stunningly good , sorry Charlie ! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

I love my Pixel 2 - especially now it's running Android Pie. The ability to pair with up to 5 bluetooth devices simultaneously is awesome. I have my Garmin tracker, LR hands free and in car bluetooth streaming all running at once with no issues Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Land Rover Addict
