Lear Amp

I'm now on my 2nd Lear amp and as before, the pins have corroded preventing any music.

As I now have two amps, one of which has a good set of pins, does anyone know of a repair shop that can fix either or both of them?

Andy,

How many pins are corroded/missing? I managed to get inside and solder new leads in, in fact, some of the pins aren't used, so you can 'borrow' them!!

Does a failed amp cause the orange power light to not come on on the head unit chaps ??

Anyone ????

My head unit turns on and the Nav etc work... just no orange light and no music.

Be careful - I thought this but the large connector with the big round pins used ALL the pins according to the wiring diagrams the other two smaller plugs do indeed have spares. Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
