Built in phone options

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to whether I can make any use of the phone system installed when new as genuine Range Rover phone system
This one is on a 2004 4.4 with none touch screen
It was able to be used by putting your SIM card in the slot and worked with all the steering wheel options and via the display unit which was pretty useful and clear through the sound system
Ideally would want to Bluetooth to an iPhone 5se if there is anything to attach to this thing, or is it just taking up valuable centre consol space
I have attached a couple of photos

Do a search on here for ULF. It’s the Bluetooth system BMW fitted to later X5’s etc and can be retrofitted to the non touchscreen RR with a bit of a rewire.

Joe90 might have one for sale.

I wouldn’t bother with the factory handset.

Sorry, looks like he’s sold it, but there are pics and a video in the for sale thread that will give you more info.

Plenty of instruction on here. You need to rewire a plug and make sure you have the loom there. I fitted one to my TD6 and did some threads, others did too. When I got my 4.4 TDV8 I sold it to Joe90.

It’s not plug and play, but it only involves being logical when repinning a plug. No soldering.

Have a search and make your mind up.

Will certainly give it some thought
That said, changed steering wheel today and put it all back together only to find in the ashtray afterwards the bolt that secures the wheel to the steering rack
Nuff said
