Short of taking the wheels off and the pads out (in the hope of finding the white LR part numbers under all the dirt on the back of the pads) , there's no way to tell if they are genuine.

For what it's worth. My sensor cable is also yellow. I have no reason to believe it is not genuine. I bought the car with 40k kms on it. ----------

Our sensor cable is yellow. It’s not genuine LR, it was supplied by Advanced Factors. |

Sorry but just chipping in, if the pads are original surely the Caliper bolts would be unmarked to show that there had been no disturbance.

I only went to the Pompy dealer once with my previous car as they were convenient to where I worked, and I was not impressed with the way I was treated. This was a number of years ago, doesnt sound like much has changed.

I've had two "health checks" done by the dealership within a month and my pads at the front have gained 30% thickness. I'll be putting them up for sale on the forum soon and if anyone has old ones they'd like me to grow just let me know.

Be careful at that rate they'll lock up the brakes and you'll never be able to remove them and your car will be stranded. BMW i3 Electric Car
