No idea what year they were changed from, but If you can see it, you can determine if it is fixed displacement or not.

The compressor installation is now done. Installation is successful and I have nice cold air coming out at 6 degrees C.

Well here is an update six years later. The compressor failed after 6 years of service. I put the pressure gauges on it and it shows very little little pressure differential across the compressor. But the system is full of refrigerant and there has been no loss since installation.
