Hi just seen this topic

Your destinations are nice , and Brittany is very interesting .

On route tween Caen and mont st Michael on the A 84 you pass thru Normandy proper! On your left is the Vire valley. Just stunningly beautiful - the town of ville dieux Les poeles is a mile off the motorway if you want a swift bite/drink.

I’m of course biased as that’s the area we have a holiday house.

Architecture is different to Brittany with almost everything built from stone, with the exception of the very large towns of
St lo and caen which were blasted in the war and now have 1950/60’s concrete.

The Normandy locals are wonderful, the houses dead cheap, and the food glorious ( as is most of France) .... Take a peek if you are house hunting

Enjoy your trip Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

Very nice - I've just come back from sailing across to Roscoff/Ile de Batz and back along the northern Brittany coast.

This was the first time we really stopped in Roscoff and explored a bit there, I really liked the feel of the town and the walks along the coast. Ile de Batz just offshore is one of my favourite ever islands, every time we sail past it we stop for 2 or 3 days and go walking/cycling round it. Very regular ferries from Roscoff over to Ile de Batz if you do have time to visit.

We've sailed that coastline 4 or 5 times now and still aren't bored with it - I'm sure you'll love it and have a great trip!
