these must be the simplest things you can fit to the fullfat, its unusual that you chaps have had problems..

Had my FF a year now , realizing I too was missing the switch cover ordered one via the "bay".

Is this suitable for a 2005 L322 and does it simply slipper the existing button to protect it? "YYS" G4 FFRR

The underside has 4 "L" shaped retaining clips, 2 of them are thicker, locate those under the lip first that runs tround the cutout in the plastic trim, then do the same with the remaining 2.

It was left over from the time BMW owned them. It is the same switch as fitted to the X5 ! |
