Supercharged here at last

Well I've picked up the S/C now. Love it, fantastic, goes perfectly on LPG, only one issue.

I discovered too late, from the one Previous Owner, that it had an issue with the gearbox, didn't manifest when I test drove it!

Basically it drives fine, until the 'Transmission Fault, Limited gears available' warning comes on.

Is this a common fault? Is there an easy fix? I've e-mailed the dealer to say fix it or take the car back. It's a non franchise dealer, but not a del boy type. He sells exotica for up to an over £100k, so I'm confident he'll get it fixed!

Just a bit of a downer after all the anticipation. The p/o called back too late and said it had been a great car, apart from this fault coming up every couple of weeks, which is why he traded it in for a newer one!

Before you take it back, there could be another gearbox problem, possibly related! Try changing to Low Range and see if it also works (it's something that a lot of people never think to check but is important if you ever want to drive in deep snow or mud or even take it offroad) 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I think he's going to book it in with the main dealer, so I'll make sure they check it thoroughly! Thanks for the heads up! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Not gone back yet, but I've identified the problem, error codes is p0783, which is 3rd to 4th gear change, no drop in engine revs. It only occurrs in drive or Sport, if I put in in Manual mode it's fine.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that this may be a known issue and can be solved with a software re-flash? Or am I imagining things. Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Looks really smart. I think the grey looks great, but at the time of buying mine grey was very rare to come by in the SC, everything was black. Same interior as mine Thumbs Up Current MY2020

Thanks guys, AMD, I think the interior colours are the best combination I've seen in a Range Rover.

Do you know what colour I need for the overmats? I guess maybe the choice is limited to black aspen or beige, so it'll be black? I have some rubber ones on order anyway. Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Lovely car and the best exterior colour too. Whistle Now all you need is a set of 2010MY S/C side vents to finish it off. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I have the black overmats, they are good quality and worth the price. Beige would get dirty and spoil the interior IMO. Current MY2020
