In the link delamo provides, Dan gives you a pn for the mounting hardware for the crossbars (w/o roof rails). The hardware for the rails might be longer/shorter. If a dealer can't help quickly and inexpensively, I'd just get standard bolts in the appropriate length if I were you. They should protrude about 1" through the rails and are standard 8mm IIRC. I'll check on my safari rack a little later just to make sure.

so its obvious you dont have a 'man drawer' with essentials like flat aaa batterys and french franks..this drawer is where the bolts would be residing..... ... - .- -.

Of course - I searched everywhere for them - including my 'man drawer' , but sadly - no bolts!... ...I also went to LR Parts - but they no longer sell the fixing kit separately... ...so I sold the bars to csjxx (after explaining that the bolts were lost)... ...sorry csjxx!, I hoped you would obtain some bolts without too much trouble (The point of me posting a link to the old thread was...hopefully you will be able to match some to those shown on the pictures which Dan provided) |

It cant be that hard... Drive to a hardware shop (not B&Q!) and buy a handful of bolts of varying sizes, go back to the car, find out which one screws into the hole, go back to the shop and buy 4 of them. |

You can also use a light Loctite threadlock compound to secure the bolts and prevent them from coming out. That way you can leave the rails on the roof. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
