Well actually I finished the job this afternoon - my advice is if someone offers to professionally fit everything for £150 let them do it. It's a simple enough job and everything you need to do is obvious but some of the things that need doing are a real PITA. Still I am now basking in the warm glow of satisfaction of a job successfully completed and am a bit knackered good job the brother in law turned up when help with lifting was needed Geoff |

I held back putting on the plastic bumper as it's much easier to give it a good clean and wax on the bench which I have done (all those annoying little tar spots). I still haven't put it back on as I am waiting for the electrics from PFJones, none in stock but half the price of JLR should be here today or Monday.

Sorry no pictures, I didn't even mean to make a start so no camera. It's actually so simple there's none needed its a simple DIY job. I think my biggest worry was getting the sides of the plastic bumper out of the lugs without breaking anything, even that was simple after I figured it out. On a 2010 the rear metal bumper is pretty light however when added to the armature combined its a heavy . Geoff |
