My L322 2006 vehicle was originally sold in Japan and was then imported into NZ (Japanese vehicles are low mileage and RHD so we get quite a number in NZ).

not 100% on this but the nav unit just reads whatever disc is in the unit in the rear cubby hole and i should imagine the gps receives the same sats as the rest of the world. ...

If it was an earlier model, I could give you the AUST/NZ maps to try. Another Kiwi downloaded them from my Dropbox and they worked with his 2004 model. But I doubt your Nav system is the same as ours. Ron B. VK2OTC

you're correct Ron, yours is cd based and Kiwimac's is dvd based.. ... - .- -.

I will try to do just that. I know the NZ maps have not been updated for a long while, but not that much changes road wise here, at least outside Auckland. I know most of the country's intercity and rural main roads backwards by now but in the cities I get easily lost! I can of course use my phone if need be but having a built in system doing nothing is just a bit annoying! |
