Multiple computer faults

Hi all, I’m new to this. can anyone help. My rr vogue tdv8 2007 today showed multi faults on trying to start. The AA were unable to diagnose.it started saying suspension fault then parking brake, hdc, air bags, special programs, engine. It then turned over but wouldn’t start. The AA diagnostics seemed to list many other faults - fuel pump, sunroof ..... I then lost power to the dash warning lamps and gauges but not the radio/entertainment console.the central locking works ok and when ignition is switched on the brake lights come on. The AA could find no loose earth connectors.
Any help or ideas would be welcome.

Assuming it’s not the battery/alternator as it does turn over and I would expect the AA man to have checked them, I would start with the ignition switch.
I’ve known a couple fail and it’s not too expensive a place to start.

Remove both battery terminals and touch the leads together for 10 seconds then reconnect, this will reset everything.

When reattaching the battery terminals make sure you get them on firmly before tightening, the posts are tapered so when tighteneing all the clamp wants to do is ride up the post. Current

I would be inclined to check the battery voltage after overnight just before you try and start the car. It could be that starting the car simply drops the battery voltage to such an extent that the multiple faults show up. If your battery voltage is below 12.6V you may have a problem with your battery or the alternator.

How old is the battery. RR's are hard on them and demand a good healthy one. First sign its failing are the symptoms you got. If the ecu cant work out the crank position it wont fire up. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

just a guess but as its an 07 tdv8, I would say alternator has packed up, possibly taken the battery along with it. Common problem on the 3.6, relatively easy fix though. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
