The check engine light keeps coming on, so I clear it daily.

yep, I've had mine for just over 2 months and already had a list of issues. (thankfully all has been sorted under warranty). This weekend I went to leave my dads & bros garage only for the battery to decide it was going on strike. 2 hours later after a charge and with everything reset she was good to go again. Its all part of the Range Rover experience FFRR TD6 HSE

HI Greg - I have heard that if it only takes 2 hours to charge your battery then it's probably nearly dead. It will charge up quickly but discharge even quicker. Word of advise - "Don't use the FBH if you have one". That's sure to kill it for you.! Ash

The FBH has no ill effect on a healthy battery. Although if your battery is on its way out then you may wish to limit it's use. But when working the FBH actually has very little draw on the battery as it burns fuel to heat and just runs a small coolant pump. |

You do have a Fuel Burning Heater, but probably dont have the remote and reciever for it. See the WiKi and Fuel Burning Heater for more info: http://www.fullfatrr.com/wiki/Main_Page |

If you need help on it, it's worth posting on the original thread (listed in that wiki article) as there are a lot of posters on there, some who have already looked at what is needed. Do you have the loose plug in the boot (right hand side panel)? You may already have the receiver fitted? You can buy an off the shelf kit apparently: http://www.parkingheater.co.uk/fileadmin/u...adekit.pdf |

I do remember seeing something in the boot. I'll take a proper look tomorrow and then look into what I need to get it working. Thanks again mate. FFRR TD6 HSE
