Use a hair dryer or a hot air gun on very low (and take care if hot air gun not to heat up to much) first to remove the letters with either a plastic scraper or old debit card etc. then use white spirit or acetate to remove any sticky crap left then stick your new ones on and put some polish on the paint around the area to protect until the next detailing is done. |

So with the white spirit and the sticky residue is it just a case of rubbing for a long time with a cloth? |

Pouring hot water on the badge softens the adhesive foam enough to allow you peel the lettering or badge off, leaving no residue Gerry
