Sat navigation battery drain

Far from certain but it looks like my sat navigation doesn't turn off. I checked the red indicator light through out the day while the beast was parked and it never went off. So for the time being I pulled the fuse. So why does this happen? Is it the BCM, audio system or just the sat nav at fault? My logic 7 system is toast. Been running on half a radio amp and no secondary logic 7 amp for a while.

I can confirm the satnav draining battery because it wouldn't go into sleep mode was due to a tested good but slightly aging battery and/or a 75% broken negative battery cable. It sleeps fine now.

Forgot to add that I did the amp repair with the two cheap amps but it still wouldn't go into sleep mode until the battery/ground repair.
