‘07 TDV8 3.6 6 speed

Hi guys,

My ‘07 TDV8 3.6 full fat has what I believe to be trans slip I.e. a juddering between 70 & 80 MPH.
Can this be cured with a gearbox oil change or is this something far worse?

One thing for sure is it's always worth checking the oil level first.. there is a procedure where the oil must be warm and engine running ... plenty of info and or vids on you tube about doing it

Also check that the brakes are not sticking. A slightly sticking caliper can cause judder. Check if warm after a drive.

The rear Calipers would be a good place to start. As said check for excess heat after a drive. The gearbox on the 3.6 is pretty robust and there are not many out there which have gone pop so hopefully it’s a simple thing not the box. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
