Ebay. They seem to crop up there regularly for a fraction of the dealer cost.

It's in the touch screen options, so I'm guessing so, but I will check this weekend to see if I have the box of tricks under the nearside bumper. |

Sorry to dampen the flames but the remote won't work without the receiver and that is part of the TV receiver which is why it has such fantastic range , without changing the TV module it's no go I'm afraid. 2008 MY Supercharged

Is this why it only comes with the Vogue upwards? I hadn't heard this and assumed that the heater worked independently of the rest of the car, hence the separate remote. |

The fuel burning heather in the Range Rover is different to the FBH in the D3 or RRS in that it can do two jobs as a factory fit, first it is there to heat up the diesel engine on cold mornings to improve efficiency and uniquely by using the touch screen to control it can be used as a parking heater or timed heater. The Disco based vehicles have a FBH but it cant be controlled by the vehicle(a webasto timer can be fitted but it can't control the heating fan or ducts making it mostly useless)The remote control is another option that can be fitted but as we have discussed that means some expensive parts. :if not all ready fitted.

Mine hasn't got the controls on the touch screen or the remote. Not too bothered as the FBH has been a pure pain in the A55 due to a fault leading to a smoke screen everytime it kicks in.
